Terms of Guarantee
Read our terms to ensure you understand what our guarantee covers.
You must agree to these terms prior to submitting our Search
Application.
- Please note that delivery times are subject to the availability
of the vehicle and the subsequent sea freight.
Buying deposit or service fee is refundable if:
- We don’t locate a vehicle that meets your agreed budget
requirements
- You change your mind prior to us offering you any suitable vehicles
- We mislead you in any way about any aspect of this service
- If we don’t carry out the complete service described in
Our Service
- Claim is made before we carry on to the next stage of importing
process.
Vehicle Cost is refundable if:
- The condition of the vehicle is below (see note below) what is
stated on condition reports specification sheets.
- The specification of the vehicle is not what is described.
- The claim is made on a vehicle shipped in a container
- The refund claim is made prior to or at delivery.
NOTE:
Occasionally vehicles sustain small scratches on the bottom
of the side skirts or bumpers from being loaded on or off car transport.
In most cases transit damage can be claimed against insurance. These
types of damage do not warrant a vehicle claim.
Conditions of a vehicle refund:
- The full cost of the vehicle as described below will be refunded
within 60 days from the date of completion of compliance. The costs
to be refunded include:

Full FOB cost of the vehicle at the exchange rate paid by
the customer.

Import tax, GST, Customs Brokers fees and Freight costs.

The standard compliance costs and cost of new tyres. (If
our suggested compliance workshops are used)

Imports101’s buying deposit.

- IMPORTS101 is a vehicle broker, so suitable time must be given
for us to on sell the vehicle to re-coupe your funds. As a broker
we cannot buy back the vehicle directly from the customer; however
we can sell the vehicle on your behalf to any of our network of
car yards around Australia. We agree to return the costs listed
above within 60 days of completion of compliance.
- If a claim is made by the customer, the compliance costs must
be paid to the complier by the customers prior to us refunding
moneys. It is illegal to sell an un-complied vehicle.
Any Guarantee claim is void if:
- If the customer simply changes their mind after we have purchased
the vehicle on their behalf.
- If we have offered more than two suitable vehicles but the customer
changes their mind, we reserve the right to retain a maximum of
AU$150 (if required) to cover services provided.
- If the shipping schedule is altered causing delays with the
import procedure a service claim cannot be made.
- If the vehicle is not inspected in person by an agent of Imports101
prior to purchase in Japan.
- If this guarantee is agreed to be voided for what ever reason,
by IMPORTS101 and the customer prior to the purchase of the
vehicle. This cancellation must be in writing.
NOTE: In the unlikely case government legislation
changes without warning, no refund will be given on any service or
vehicle. |
