An import approval is required to import any vehicle into Australia.
This should be completed after the vehicle is purchased and prior
to importing the vehicle. IMPORTS101 complete this application
for our customers as part of our service. The import approval application
takes 10-17 days to be processed by DOTARS and must provide the
following:
- Vehicle
details
- Buyer/Importer details
- Vehicle Invoice for proof of purchase
- The import scheme applicable
to the vehicle
- $50 application fee
- Customs broker details
This application is submitted by IMPORTS101
and the co-ordination of the freight is also arranged so that the
vehicle does not
arrive in Australia prior to the import approval being supplied.
