Purchasing from our Stock List
The availability period of vehicles on our stock list can be anywhere from 1 minute to 2 months. Vehicles are regularly added to our stock list to provide a little time for decision making with many more details available than auctions. You should inspect and decide quickly from our stock as vehicles can disappear before your eyes. Either ring about any listing that interests you or use the HOLD feature provided to VIP customers.
Steps
1. Inspect stock list and HOLD the suitable vehicle in order to purchase.
2. If a HOLD is placed a VIP password must confirm the hold.
3. Immediate Hold notification is sent to the seller of the vehicle and IMPORTS101 administration.
4. We contact you direct to discuss the details of the vehicle and confirm the sale.
5. If the vehicle is confirmed to be available payment is arranged and the import procedure begins.

Procedure for purchasing from the auctions

Directly buying from an auction is a brief and intense process that can net some good bargains but with less information available and very short time to make decisions. See Japanese Auctions for more details.

Steps:

1. We identify suitable vehicle/s and notify you by email and/or phone.
2. We discuss the details of the vehicle and agree to an On-Road price.
3. Imports101 then reverse calculate the suitable maximum bid at auction (in Yen).
4. We instruct our agents to inspect the vehicle to confirm condition.
5. Your bid is placed.
6. Bids are placed in small increments so you will pay the lowest possible price to secure the vehicle.
7. If we are successful with a bid, payment must be immediately organized and the import procedure begins
8. If we don’t win the vehicle, you have lost nothing and we continue the process.
